Here we go
After several weeks of considering a blog, and with the urging of some good friends, it looks like I'm gonna do it.
Why "High Altitude"? After reading some of the nonsense I'm liable to print here, some of you may wonder if I'm getting enough oxygen to my brain. Although that is a distinct possibility, the truth is that I live at 4700 feet above sea level.
Who am I? I'm a 55 year old man (going on 25), semi-retired (as in retired from a 32 year job, then returning to work), married for 30+ years, father of two adult sons, a father-in-law, a grandfather, an avid golfer and, according to some people, a genuine nutcase.
At this point, I have no idea what I'm liable to print here, but possible topics may include comments on my golf game, politics, women, family, the workplace, the media, government and women. (Hmmm...there may have been a duplication in that last sentence.)
Anyway...stand by, world...this could get interesting.
